In the evening of July 5th after returning from the Dagger Falls on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River (where we saw Chinook Salmon jumping up the falls) I shot this photo of one of the Hawk chicks and the female parent. Notice that its head is no longer white and the other feathers are darker too.

The following evening on July 6th, the second Hawk chick was visible and its head still has some of the white fuzz on its head compared to the other chick I saw the previous evening.
